Apostle John M. Jones Sr. was born in Miami Florida where he attended and graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High School in 1987. After graduating from high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Army and married his childhood sweetheart Prophetess Romona L. Jones aka (Mama J). Apostle John and Prophetess Romona has been united in holy matrimony for 26 years and are blessed with five wonderful children and three precious grandchildren (son late Octavius 34, wife Prissy, grandson Tavion 9 and granddaughter Aubrey 5), (son John M. Jones Jr. 30, wife Sabrina and grandson Averion 10), (daughter Michela 28, son Ralphael 22, and son Nathan 10). Apostle Jones served in the United States Army for 26 years of honorable service; some of the duty stations he served at were Germany, Korea, Colorado, Iraq, Afghanistan and the (AA) 82D ABN DIV Fort Bragg NC. During his 26 years of service he earned numerous awards and badges, and earning the position of First Sergeant which was the proud position he retired. However before transitioning from the Army Apostle Jones understood that God was using military and ministry together, he accepted the call of God as a Deacon in 1994 and shortly after was elevated as a Minister of the Gospel. In 1996 he was called to be an Elder and Pastor, in 2003 Apostle John & Prophetess Romona was led by The Lord Jesus Christ through prayer to birth Body of Christ Families 1st International Ministries (BOCFFIM) as Senior Pastors and founders. In 2008 our Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit appointed him to be an Apostle. Throughout his 18 years of ministry Apostle Jones has served in many aspects in the ministry to name a few: Armor Bearer, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday school teacher, jail ministry, music ministry, Gospel service Pastor Bagdad Iraq 2006-2007, Gospel service Fob Fenty Afghanistan Pastor 2008-2009 Apostle Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology, AA in General Arts and a BAS in IT management. Currently Apostle Jones and his lovely wife are Senior Pastors of BOCFFIM of Spring Lake, NC and reside in Carolina Lakes, Sanford NC.
